Sara is a multi-talent for a multi-culture

What exactly are you doing?

I enable people to follow their dreams and passion in new and challenging environments. From my prior experience in the HR department of multiple international companies, and from my own experience as an immigrant, I have both personal experience and professional experience in understanding how hard it can be to reach our goals, particularly in a foreign country with an alien language and culture.

I also conduct job coaching. I help people to adapt their resume and prepare for interviews, taking into account both their strengths and skills, and also the values and culture of the company and the country they are applying to. My biggest passion lies in not only helping them find any job, but in finding a job of their dreams – a concept called “Dream Job Coaching”.

Furthermore, I also conduct trainings. I have designed, developed and conducted a series of in-house workshops for companies that have international teams or customers or both on how to collaborate and work together though better understanding and communication.

How did you become a coach?

After finishing a degree in psychology, I pursued a master in HR management where a 3 day coaching workshop made me realize that this arena is my calling and passion. I cherish supporting people and helping them to follow their dreams and achieve their goals. I also obtained a certificate as an NLP coach and at some point, I decided to follow my heart, and thus, quit my full time job in a multinational company to pursue my dream.

How can you support and help other people?

My degree in psychology and my experience as an immigrant working in the HR department of an international company with multinational and multicultural employees has equipped me with both the theoretical and practical experience to understand the various situations that could lead to misunderstandings, and the various emotional issues people go through in coping with a different culture or in having to deal with people from another culture. I help people not only to just adjust to their environment, but also enable them to achieve any goal they set for themselves in any environment.

How does a normal coaching session looks like?

Each session is tailored to the needs and requirements of the client as everybody is facing a different issue and is looking to gain something different. I normally start by asking a lot of questions prior to the first session which helps me understand the client and their needs. This also helps me have clarity and be prepared to get the person involved in the process as soon as possible, and to achieve better results quicker.

What was the most surprising thing during or after a coaching?

The most surprising thing is how much making small positive adjustments in people’s lives changes so much in their personality – the confidence they exude, the expression on their faces, and the posture of their bodies as they start making decisions and following the path they aspire to.

Please tell us your greatest coaching success!

The newfound motivation, impulse and energy of each and every client at the end of the coaching process is the biggest success for me.
